Hotel del Mare Hospitality

Located in Marina Grande, an ancient fishing village on the Sorrento Coast, the Hotel del Mare,Sorrento Hotels, is the ideal place for all those who want to get in touch with a very important piece of Sorrento culture.

The Sorrento hotel was built in the ‘60s, among the buildings of Marina Grande, adjacent to one of the boat-yards where the old axe masters build the Sorrento Gozzo with craftsmanship.

Originally built as a residential estate, the Sorrento Hotels was then converted into a hotel by the Galano Family, who, still to-day, own the property and have always pursued one mission: the welcoming, the care and the satisfaction of their guests.

Since 1970, over the years, the Hotel has carried out numerous renovation works. The most recent refurbishment was completed in 2007. The Hotel del Mare, is now a modern 3-star hotel equipped with several guest amenities: Internet connection, air-conditioning, LCD TV, and hydro-massage showers in most of the guestrooms.

Materials and furniture have been chosen keeping to local style and architecture, such as the Vesuvian stone and the multicoloured Vietri ceramics renowned all over the world for their high quality and beauty. The ceramics have been specially designed for the hotel with personalisedshapes, colours and decorations.
